Mawaeidk is an intermediary platform that lets users ("patients") browse medical providers in the State of Qatar ("providers"), book appointments, and pay online. Mawaeidk is not a medical entity and does not provide consultations, diagnoses, or treatments; we connect you to the licensed provider you choose.

The in-app AI assistant suggests a general medical specialty based on the symptoms you describe — it does NOT provide a diagnosis or medical opinion. The final decision about your health rests with the treating doctor. In emergencies (severe chest pain, acute breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms), call 999 immediately and do not rely on the app.

To create an account you must be 18 years of age or older and provide accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity from your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

• A booking is final once payment completes (online bookings) or once the provider confirms it (cash bookings).
• Provider availability is shown in real time; in rare cases a time conflict may occur and we will reach out to you to arrange an alternative.
• You may cancel a booking before its time, subject to the cancellation policy of each provider. Service fees may apply for late cancellations.
• No-show without prior cancellation may result in a no-show fee under the provider's policy.
• If the provider does not show up (without prior notice), you are entitled to a full refund within 7 business days.

Payments are processed through the Sadad gateway (Qatar). We do not retain card details on our servers. Charges include the consultation fee set by the provider plus a platform service fee (clearly shown to you before checkout).

For eligible refunds, the amount is returned to your original payment method within 7-14 business days, depending on the issuing bank.

Providers are independent entities, separate from Mawaeidk. They alone are responsible for the quality of healthcare, diagnoses, prescriptions, and medical procedures. Mawaeidk bears no responsibility for the outcome of the medical visit or the provider's clinical decisions.

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following:

• Impersonating another person or providing misleading information.
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent cancellation policies.
• Using automated tools (bots) to access the Service.
• Attempting to compromise the platform or access others' data without authorisation.
• Sending abusive, defamatory, or unlawful content via the AI assistant or support channels.
• Using the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, with prior notice when appropriate.

All intellectual property rights in the app and website — including the logo, design, text, source code, and icons — are owned by Mawaeidk or licensors who granted us usage rights. You may not copy, redistribute, or reproduce these elements without written permission.

We provide the Service "as is" without express or implied warranties except as required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the Service.

These limits do not exclude our liability for gross negligence, fraud, or damages that cannot be excluded under Qatar law.

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of these terms.

You may close your account at any time from app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account without notice in cases of policy violations, fraud, or legal obligations.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute arising from your use of the Service shall be referred exclusively to the competent courts of the State of Qatar.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest update date is always shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be notified to you in advance via the app or email.
